Description

Akevitt (or Akvavit), translated as "water of life," is a pale grape or wheat spirit that first appeared centuries ago in the pastoral regions of northern Italy, France, Sweden, Iceland, and Denmark. The famous signs of O.P. Swedish Anderson, Norwegian Linie Gambol and Danish Aarlborg. Apparently, the drinkers who are looking for the secret of eternal youth and beauty will find this drink, which is made with arrack spirit base. The aquavit that was produced for the first two centuries was not very attractive - in fact, it looked cloudy and rough. But since Aalborg began producing Aalborg in 1840, the clear golden drops of this special drink have been a joy to see and taste. To make it even better, pour the aquoit into small aquoit glasses and chill. We found this enthusiastic description of drinking akuvit in an old Norwegian cookbook: "The ritual of drinking akuvit is celebrated. One raises the glass and holds it gently, the other joins to others. That end is bacchanal and the energy is mostly half full, but with a deep meeting, the third glass is promised. Aalborg Jubilæums Akvavit is a good example of the spirit created in 1946 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of AALBORG TAFFEL. Aalborg Jubilæums Akvavit golden color is a delicate and elegant fragrance. The unique flavor of this clean and fruity juice is lentil mixed with coriander and a hint of anise and citrus. Like most Aquavits, it's good with fish - it's great with oily fish fry. Duck and chicken go well with a light sauce. It is best served cold.
